State of Zen Story

Zen is a Japanese word for meditation that stems from the Sanskrit word Dhyāna, the 7th limb of the 8 limbs, meaning - meditation. A Zen state of mind is a state of presence. A state of pure awareness. It is recognising that everything is in a state of flux and that deep attention to the present moment can reveal a subtle richness that allows us to fully experience every single moment.

State of Zen has been informed by Yoga, Chinese Medicine, Pranayama, Meditation, Taoism, Enso and Wabi- Sabi. Utilising ancient tools for modern wellness. Slowing down to notice more. finding beauty in what is natural, aged, asymmetrical, and transient.
